Hunters having a Break

Talented Fedoskino artist Boris Shavirin is the author this earthbound composition. With this scene an artist is continuing the series of the boxes such as Uninvited Guests, Found a Mouse, Winter Follies and others showing his peaceful sense of humor.
After spending several hours on a hunt, the hunters decided to take a break... And, of course, a bottle of vodka helped to relax and start taking about different accidents on a hunt. But hungry and sneaky fox was not so far and decide to steal a trophy. And this tempting moment we can see on the background.
The scene is framed with a gold line. The box's exterior sides imitates the color of gray marble. The interior is covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2013.
