Brooch: Ivan and Fire-Bird

This very detailed brooch was painted by a talented Palekh artist Irina Peskova.
Irina was born in 1971. During 1987-1992 he studied in the Palekh Art School. Her favorite scenes to depict are folklore and genre scenes.
The brooch features a scene from popular Russian Fairy-tale of Fire-bird.Here we can see a moment when Ivan has catch Fire-bird for it's tail.Painting is very much detailed and the gold details are amazing!
The brooch is made of paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the brooch. The work is signed with the name of the artist, and the village of Palekh and a year of 2014.
