Sinushkin's Well

This attractive box has been painted by the talented artist Larisa Mazurina.
It shows the scene from Russian Tale "Sinushkin's Well" written by Russian writer Pavel Bazhov.
The scene is framed with gold ornament. The sides are decorated with beautiful gold ornamentation with silver dots.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid isn't hinged, and the box rests on four small legs. The box is signed by the artist, dated, and titled.
