This box is quit simple, but very attractive. The palette the artist uses is based on warm colors: green, yellow with addition of gold paints.
Here the artist has depicted two fishermans who fished with a large net.We can easy recognize a large pike that they catch!
The box is constructed from paper-mache made. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the piece while a red lacquer completes the interior of the work. A hinge has been fastened to the top of the composition and the box rests on four small round legs.
An inscription can be found written upon the lid's interior. It announces this piece as an author's original work, the title of the scene, the village name of Kholui and the year of 2003 of which the piece was painted. The artist also wrote his name, the title, the village name of Kholui at the bottom of the composition.
