Loving Coupe

On the right part of the composition we can see a small village with wooden houses. In the blue skies we can see a flock of magpies.
The sides of the box are decorated very detailed apples, painted in red colors and gold.
As it was mentioned before, that box a unique-shape! The sides are cut assimetric and it looks very unusual when it is opened, check the photos!
The scene is framed with a gold line. The second gold line wrapping the edges of the box's sides and the last one goes at the bottom of the sides.
The box's exterior is covered with black lacquer while the interior is traditionally red.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on two edges of the bottom. Signed with the artist's name and the village of Fedoskino.
