The original is named For Peace! and painted by Russian artist Reshetnikov Feodor Pavlovich in 1951, kept in State Tratiakov Gallery (in Moscow). Oil-based paint is the medium used to paint the composition on this box. The palette that is used seems bold and full of expressive colors.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache . Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior and red lacquer is used to paint the interior of the box.
The composition is framed with a gold line.
The box's sides are decorated with two parallel gold lines.
The box has a hinge located to the top of the composition and rests flat. The box is signed with the artist's name.
