A Girl

Talented artist and a teacher from the village of Fedoskino Golovchonkov Oleg has created this attractive box. It features the portrait of a sit girl. Exceptional technique and masterful skill are needed to create this work. It is as entrancing as it is traditional.
The portrait is framed with a thin gold line. Two parallel gold lines wrap around the box's sides.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the portrait, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's initials G.O.
