An Autumn

This festive box has been painted by a talented Artist Svetlana Kolmogorova. The work is called "An Autumn" and shows a beautiful lady staying surround the autumn forest. the leaves are yellow/gold and red and ready to fall down.
The scene is painted in bright oil paints to create a festal mood.
The edges of the lid are adorned with a wide gold band that is extended on the box's sides.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. A hinge is fastened to the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title, and the village of Fedoskino.
