Falconer

The well-known talented Fedoskino artist Alexey Chirkov is continue the series of the works depicting the hunting theme. This is another work from this series. The work is called "Falconer", and shows a Hunter with the Falcon.The falcon is tied up with a string to a Hunter's special glove, but sit not far on a brunch of a tree.
The scene is masterfully drawn -including a Hunter, Falcon and natural background! Brilliance and luster come from pieces of mother-of-pearl that shine brightly with glimmering blue, green and violet tones in the left part of this box. Gold paint is used to detail the trees, the horse, the costume of the Hunter and a lot of other details!
The ornament is not only rich and intricate, it is stunning! Such a beautiful color solution- orange/red and bronze!
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged to the left of the composition, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2013.
