This gorgeous box has been painted by the outstanding Fedoskino artist, Sergey Golubyonkov (1960), whose unique works you can come across looking through many catalogues on the Fedoskino lacquer miniature painting. Here the artist has painted his own version of the famous masterpiece "Boyarynya Sitting at the Window" originally painted on canvas by Konstantin Makovsky in 1885. This work is exhibited in the Omsk Region Art Museum after M.A. Vrubel.

The painting is framed with a gold line.Two parallel gold line are decorated the box's sides.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the name of the artist, and the village of Fedoskino.
