Brown Bear

Well-known Fedoskino artist Boris Shavirin is continuing the series of the boxes with animals.
Here the artist has painted big brown bear in the winter forest. The trees from the front and the background of the composition are painted are covered with a snow. The bear is looking at the bird on a small tree in front of him.
The painting is framed with a wide gold band. The box's sides are imitated the color of dark blue marble. The interior is covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2016.
